DIY Bath Salts – Do Your Body Good

Okay let’s be honest here. As a momma to a toddler and four-legged furry friend privacy in the bathroom doesn’t happen often…I mean rarely ever…I mean never. Alright not completely true since there are nights everything align themselves and the universe allows some quiet uninterrupted momma time.

Before I would busy myself with any household chore that needed my love. After realizing that laundry is never ending, dishes will get dirty again and again and putting the toys back in their rightful place is a battle I’m always going to lose. I decided this time I would savor the moment and give myself some much needed bath time love. Oh how I missed these.

Whipping up some soothing and comforting bath salts is a good place to start. The skin will pull from the oil on the surface of the bathwater and absorb it. Adding 3-6 drops of Lavender oil in 1/2 cup of Epsom salts and pour into the bath can have a soothing effect on you and your mood.

Place your intention on complete relaxation and let the oils to do their magic.
